The Fine Print (Terms and Conditions)
1. Booking & Payments
Booking Fee: A 25% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date. Your slot is not confirmed until this is paid.
The Balance: * Large Events (3+ hours, weddings, festivals): Due 14 days before the event.
All other sessions: Due on or before the shoot day.
Delivery Lock: Final high-resolution images or video links will not be released until the full balance has been cleared.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellation Fees:More than 3 months' notice: Only the booking fee is retained.
Within 30 days: 50% of the total fee is due.
Within 7 days: 100% of the total fee is due.
Rescheduling: If you need to move your shoot, I will try to accommodate you subject to my 2026 availability. If I am unavailable for the new date, it will be treated as a cancellation.
3. Travel & Access
Travel within South East Kent is included in your package.
Outside SE Kent (London, Brighton, etc.): For locations outside of South East Kent, travel costs will be added to the final balance. This will be charged as either:
- The cost of a Standard Return Train Ticket from Ashford International, or;A mileage rate of £0.45 per mile if traveling by car.
Late Night Events: For events ending after 11:00 PM where public transport is limited, the client is responsible for the cost of a local taxi or Uber to ensure a safe return to Ashford. This must be agreed upon at the time of booking.
Permissions: Clients are responsible for ensuring I have venue access and any required permits or press passes (especially for gigs/festivals).
4. Client Responsibilities & Late Arrival
Clients must arrive on time and be ready to shoot.
The Clock: If you arrive late, that time is deducted from your session.
The shoot will still end at the scheduled time to respect my other bookings.
No refunds are given for time lost due to client lateness.
5. Creative Style & Editing
Artistic License: You are booking me for my cinematic and authentic style.
I retain full creative control over which shots are captured, which are delivered, and the final edit (color, tone, and crop).
The "No RAW" Rule: I do not provide RAW or unedited files under any circumstances. These are an unfinished product and do not represent my brand.
6. Video Revisions
Minor Revisions: Video packages include one round of minor revisions (e.g., swapping a specific clip or correcting a typo).
Major Changes: Major changes (e.g., changing the music, the "vibe," or the concept) after the first edit is delivered will be charged as additional editing hours.
Format Choice: Clients must specify their preferred format—Vertical (9:16) or Landscape (16:9)—at the time of booking.
Dual-Format Requests: If both formats are required, a "Dual-Format" fee (£50–£100) will apply to cover the additional labor required to manually re-frame, crop, and re-edit the content for a second aspect ratio. Requests for a second format made after the final edit has been delivered will be treated as a major revision and billed accordingly.
Music & Copyright: Clients are encouraged to provide original music. I am not responsible for social media "strikes" or muting caused by requested copyrighted commercial tracks.
Custom Audio: I can provide a custom-curated cinematic soundscape/track to suit the vibe of the edit to ensure your video remains strike-free.
7. Lighting, Weather & Conditions
Real-World Limits: I use professional low-light gear, but I am not responsible for quality limitations caused by "horrid" lighting, extreme weather, or venue-imposed restrictions (e.g., "No Flash" rules in churches or dark venues).
Laser & Lighting Damage: Certain stage lighting, including lasers and high-intensity lighting effects, can cause permanent damage to camera sensors. I am not liable for any missed footage or limitations in coverage where such equipment is in use. I reserve the right to stop filming or reposition equipment to protect my gear if I believe there is a risk of damage.
Outdoor Shoots: These may be rescheduled at my discretion if the weather is unsuitable for professional equipment.
8. Delivery & Storage
Turnaround (Estimates): * Music & Event Sessions: Typically 3–5 days.
Wedding Collections: Typically 1–3 weeks.
Please note: These time frames are estimates and may vary slightly depending on my current schedule or peak festival and wedding seasons.
The "First Look": For all wedding packages, I provide two high-resolution highlight images within 48 hours so you can share your news immediately while I hand-edit the rest of your collection.
Storage: I store final files for 2 months after delivery. After this, they may be permanently deleted. Please download and back up your files immediately upon receipt.
9. Copyright & Usage
Ownership: I, Angelina Terry (Lena Terry), retain full copyright of all work produced.
The Usage License: You are granted a Full Usage License for your own creative projects or personal memories.
For Music & Events: This includes social media, streaming platforms (Spotify/Apple Music), posters, tour merch, and promotion for your music or project.
For Weddings & Portraits: This includes full digital use and unlimited printing rights for personal use (albums, prints, gifts).
The "No Hidden Fees" Promise: There are no extra licensing fees for you to use, print, or share your images to grow your career or relive your day.
Every image is delivered watermark-free.
Third-Party Restrictions: This license is for your use only. It does not allow third-party companies (e.g., equipment manufacturers, wedding venues, or corporate sponsors) to use my work for their own advertising without my written permission and a separate fee.
Credit: I kindly require that credit is given to @LenaTerry or lenaterry.co.uk whenever the work is shared online or used in physical print.
No Alterations: To protect my professional style, please do not apply filters or AI "enhancements" that alter my original editing and color grading.
10. Portfolio & "Behind the Scenes" (BTS)
Promotion: I may capture BTS content or use final images/videos for my portfolio, website, and social media.
Privacy: If you require your shoot to remain private, this must be requested in writing at the time of booking.
11. Minors, Pets & DBS
DBS: I am fully DBS checked.
Supervision: A parent or legal guardian must be present for all sessions involving minors (under 18s).
Pets: Owners are strictly responsible for their pets' behavior and safety. I reserve the right to end a session if I feel a pet (or person) is unsafe. Full payment remains due.
12. Safety, Conduct & Termination
Zero Tolerance: I reserve the right to stop work and leave a location immediately if I experience inappropriate behavior, harassment, or feel unsafe. No refund will be issued, and the full fee remains payable.
13. Liability & Data
Unforeseen Circumstances: If I am unable to attend due to an emergency or total equipment failure, my liability is limited to a full refund of all payments made.
I am not liable for data loss caused by factors beyond my control (e.g., cloud hosting failures).

By paying the booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
